 | フォドラの大地は、南半分を支配する「アドラステア帝国」、北の「ファーガス神聖王国」、そして東に位置する「レスター諸侯同盟」の三つの勢力によって統治されているの。 | The continent of Fódlan is divided up into three countries--the southern half of the continent makes up the Adrestian Empire, to the north is the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and to the east lies the Liecester Alliance. |
 | 多くの戦乱を経て、最終的にこの三国の均衡によって、平穏が保たれているのであったな。 | After many battles, these three countries stand in a stace of relative peace and balance. |
| そんな三国の中央にあるのが「ガルグ＝マク大修道院」。ここは多くの人々が信仰する「セイロス教」の総本山であると同時に、フォドラの未来を担う若者たちを育成する士官学校でもあるのよ。 | The Garreg Mach Monastary lies at the center of these three countries. It is the headquarters for the Church of Seiros, the dominant religion of the continent, as well as a military academy that prepares youths for their futures. |
 | そして主人公は、とあることがきっかけで、その士官学校の教師になるのよね？ | And the protagonist becomes a professor at that military academy, no? |
 | ええ。その主人公がこちら！ ビデオゲームでは、二つの姿から選ぶことができるわ。名前もプレイヤーが自由につけることができるのよ。 | Right. This is the protagonist! In the video games, they have two forms you can choose from. The player may also pick their name freely. |

| まずは歴史ある大国、アドラステア帝国出身者が在籍する「黒鷲の学級（アドラークラッセ）」。級長は、帝国の皇女エーデルガルトよ。 | The first is the Black Eagles class, which represents the long-standing Adrestian Empire. The house leader is the heiress of that empire, Edelgard. |

 | 続いては、崇高な騎士の国、ファーガス神聖王国の若者が集う「青獅子の学級（ルーヴェンクラッセ）」。級長は、次期国王のディミトリ。 | Next is the Blue Lions class, which represents the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus--a country made up of knightly orders. The leader of this one is the future King, Dimitri. |

| そして三つ目が、王を戴かない有力貴族の共同体、レスター諸侯同盟出身者の学級「金鹿の学級（ヒルシュクラッセ）」。級長は、同盟の盟主であるリーガン家の嫡子クロードね。 | And the third class is the Golden Deer, which represents the kingless Leicester Alliance. The leader of this one is Claude, the eldest son of the Riegan family--one of the many families that make up the Alliance. |

 | わたしはこの学級を選んだわ。クロードって、笑顔の裏にどこか油断のならない感じがしてて、いいわよね！ | I picked this class. I get the feeling that beneath his smile, Claude is the sort of person who doesn't let his guard down! |
| プレイヤーは主人公を通じて、学校では教師として、戦場では指揮官として、生徒を導きながら、共に成長していくことになるの。 | The player takes on the role of the protagonist, guiding their students in class and on the battlefield as they grow as a teacher and fighter. |
 | もちろんサイファでも、個性豊かな生徒たちのカードがたくさん収録されるわ！ さらに、物語の始まりから登場し、主人公の夢に現れる不思議な少女、ソティスのカードもあったりするのよ。 | Cipher will include cards for many of these students, of course! Additionally, we have Sothis, a mysterious girl who appears to the protagonist in a dream at the start of the game. |

| そしてそして！ 今回の『風花雪月』のカードに用意されたスペシャルなスキルが「クレストパワー（ＣＰ）」よ！！ | And on top of that, many of the Three Houses cards this time have a new kind of skill called a "Crest Power"! |
 | クレスト…パワー…？ えーっと…クレストって、なんでしたっけ…？ | Crest... Power...? Um... what's a 'Crest'...? |
 | たしか…「紋章」の意味… | Could they mean... something like an 'emblem'... |
| その通り！ ゲーム中で一部のキャラクターが持っている「紋章」の力をイメージしているの。 | That's about right! In the games, some characters have powers called "Crests", which are sort of like their own emblems! |
 | なんと！ この「クレストパワー」は、手札にある状態で使うことができるスキルなの！ | And these Crests appear in Cipher as "Crest Powers", which are skills used directly from your hand! |
 | て…手札からーー！？ そんなスキル、いままであったか！？ | F-From your haaand!? Fie, we have never seen a skill like that before, have we!? |
| うふふ…サイファ初のスキルよ！ こんな感じになっているわ！ | Ufufu... yes, this is a first in Cipher! They look a little something like this! |

 | おお～！ 「手札にある間だけ使用できる」って書いてあります～！ | Ohhh! It looks like it says "this can only be used when the card is in your hand"! |
 | 手札からってことは、カードを戦場に出撃させなくても使えるってことよね？ | So when you say you use it from your hand, do you mean that you use the skill without deploying the card? |
 | ええ！ さらに、このエーデルガルトの２つめのスキルのように、「クレストパワー」を使うことで能力を発揮するカードもあったりするのよ！ | Right! Look at the second skill on this Edelgard card as an example of a card that demonstrates its abilities through its Crest Power! |

| ビデオゲームでは他学級の生徒をスカウトして自分なりの学級を作ることができたけど、サイファなら、さらにマルスやカムイといった他の作品のキャラクターまでもいっしょに学級…もとい、デッキを作れるわけね！ 楽しそうだわ！ | You can scout students from other classes in the game, but in Cipher, you could even make a class with characters from other games, like Marth or Corrin! And then you could use it as your deck! Very fun! |
