 | 「日本一決定戦」というのは、年に１回、文字通り、日本一のサイファプレイヤーを決める対戦イベントのことよ。毎回、サイファ祭で決勝トーナメントが行われて優勝者が決まるの。
今年が３回目になるわね。 | The Japan's Best Tournament is held once a year to determine who the best player in Japan is. Each time, the final battles of the tournament are held at Cipherfest and the winner is decided.
This year will be the third. |

 | 日本一決定戦は、このような段階を踏んで行われるの。 | These are the different events that lead up to the Japan's Best tournament. |
 | まずは、「店舗予選」で優勝するか、「サイファアリーナ」で入賞して、地区予選への出場権を獲得する必要があるわ。 | First, you have to win your local store qualifiers or in a Cipher Arena. This grants you the right to participate in district qualifiers. |
 | 「店舗予選」っていうのは、全国のカードショップで開かれる大会ね。サイファのHPを見たけど、8～16人くらいの定員で行われているみたい。 | By store qualifiers, you mean those tournaments that are held in participating card shops nationwide? I took a look at our website, and it looks like each one is held among 8~16 people. |
| 「サイファアリーナ」は、どういうものなんですか？ | What about that Cipher Arena thing? |
| 「サイファアリーナ」は、カードショップさんが主催する少し大きめの大会よ。こちらは基本的に32名以上で開催されるわ。参加人数が多いほど、多くの入賞者に出場権が与えられるのよ。 | Cipher Arenas are slightly larger tournaments held by select card shops. These are typically among 32 or more people, so they're bigger events. The number of people who qualify to move on is dependent on how many people enter. |
| そして、店舗予選かサイファアリーナで、出場権を獲得したプレイヤーは、続く「地区予選」に進むことになるの！ 今年は全国の10会場で開催されているわ。 | Those selected from store qualifiers or Cipher Arena will move onto district qualifiers--there are 10 district qualifier tournaments this year. |

| まずはサイファ祭EASTの前日に、代表者全員で総当たり戦が行われるわ。１日かけて、自分以外のプレイヤー全員と戦うのよ。 | Well, first, the day before Cipherfest EAST, all players are entered into a round-robin style tournament. Each player will fight every other player over the course of the day. |

| そして、上位４名が日本一決定戦の決勝トーナメントに進出し、そこで優勝したプレイヤーが、晴れてサイファ日本一となるのよ！ | The top 4 players go on to the final tournament of Japan's Best, and the player who wins is crowned the best in Japan! |
